Most people remember GBA4iOS, a popular games emulator that disappeared some time back; the developer, Riley Testut has now gone one step further and released a brand new emulator app called Delta Emulator. As well as the support that GBA4iOS had for Gameboy games, Delta also offers support for Nintendo and Super Nintendo console games.
In effect, Delta Emulator is a more up to date version of GBA4iOS with more features and more support and the developer has promised to add extra console support in the near future. Some of the best features that this emulator offers are:
App Features :
- Support included for iOS 8 to iOS 11
- Fully optimized for iPad
- Offers support for Airplay and Wireless linking
- Lots of skins included
- Controller vibration mode
- Easy Dropbox syncing
- New icon log0
- Cydia is not required
- Plenty of other features
Compatible Devices :
Delta Emu works on all iOS devices on iOS 8 through iOS 12 :
- iPad Air
- iPad Pro
- iPad Mini
- iPod Touch
How to Download :
This 3rd party emulator is not available in the iOS app store like its predecessor was for a short while. Sadly, Apple patched the loophole that allowed that to happen and have made sure another one never becomes available. However, you also do not require Cydia to install Delta app and it will work safely and securely in the way and iOS app store app does. All you need to do is download the .ipa file onto your iPhone or iPad and that requires Cydia Impactor and your Apple ID. Full details can be found at the link below, along with instructions on deleting the Emulator safely and with the least amount of trouble:
As an update to GBA4iOS, Delta is an excellent emulator app, providing free and easy access to many of the best Nintendo and Gameboy games, right there on your iPhone or iPad. There is no other app that can offer this functionality, certainly not one from the iOS app store and so you should grab this opportunity with both hands – it may be the only way to play console games on your device.
